This notice explains what personal data Mortuletti processes, why it is needed, and the choices available to users. We collect only data needed to operate, secure, and improve the marketplace or data that a user chooses to provide.
Who is responsible
Mortuletti is responsible for the processing described in this notice. Operator details are available under Company details. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to privacy@mortuletti.com.
Data we process
We process account and authentication data, profile information, advertisements and uploaded photos, approximate location, payment and invoice records, verification statuses, referral activity, and limited technical and security logs. We also process contact details, public usernames, profile links, publication preferences, and provider-specific identifiers when a seller chooses to add or verify a communication method.
Why we process it
We use data to provide the service requested by the user, publish advertisements, enable optional contact methods, protect accounts and users, prevent fraud and abuse, process paid services, meet legal and accounting duties, provide support, and improve the marketplace. Depending on the activity, processing is based on performance of our agreement with the user, the user's choice or consent, legal obligations, or Mortuletti's legitimate interests in operating a safe service.
Communication methods and publication
Sellers may optionally add email, telephone, WhatsApp, Telegram, Snapchat, LINE, Discord, or other supported communication methods. Email addresses stay hidden and messages are sent through the contact form. Other contact details are shown on advertisements only after verification where available, only when the seller enables Publish, and only after an anti-bot check where reveal protection is provided. A seller can disable publication or remove a contact at any time. When a contact is removed or changed, the previous contact value and linked provider identifier are removed and its verification is reset.
Snapchat Login Kit
A seller may voluntarily connect Snapchat to verify ownership of that account. Mortuletti receives and stores the Snapchat external account identifier needed for verification, the verification status, and the public username or profile link supplied by the seller. Display Name permission may be requested during authorization, but Mortuletti does not store or publish the Display Name received from Snapchat. We do not access Snapchat passwords, messages, contacts, friends, Snaps, Stories, or other private content. Snapchat independently processes the authorization interaction under the Snap Privacy Policy.
Service providers
We use service providers only where needed to operate Mortuletti: Supabase for database and authentication, Vercel for hosting, Stripe for payments and identity checks, Twilio for SMS verification, Snap Inc. for optional Snapchat verification through Login Kit, Telegram for optional Telegram verification, LY Corporation for optional LINE verification through LINE Login, Discord Inc. for optional Discord verification through OAuth2, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection, and email delivery providers for contact messages. Each provider processes the data needed for its function under its own terms and privacy information.
Retention
Profile, advertisement, and communication-method data is kept while the user chooses to keep it in Mortuletti. When a user deletes it, it is removed from the active service; Mortuletti does not keep a separate archive of deleted contact values. Verification is reset when a verified contact changes. Payment, invoice, fraud-prevention, and security records may be retained only when and for as long as needed to meet legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, or security obligations.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, users may request access to, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of their personal data, or object to certain processing. Users may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent and complain to their competent data-protection authority. Most profile, advertisement, and communication data can be changed or deleted directly in Mortuletti.
Children
Mortuletti is not directed to children. Users must be old enough under applicable law to create an account, enter into marketplace transactions, and use paid services.
