Prohibited and restricted listings
Draft version. Last updated: 24 June 2026.
Mortuletti is designed for ordinary classified ads. Sellers must follow applicable law and must not publish unsafe, illegal, misleading, or abusive listings. Mortuletti may remove listings, pause accounts, request documents, or report serious issues to authorities when needed.
Prohibited listings
- Illegal goods or services in Luxembourg, the EU, or the buyer/seller country.
- Weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives, stun guns, pepper spray, dangerous knives, weapon parts, and weapon accessories.
- Drugs, cannabis products, controlled substances, prescription medicines, and drug paraphernalia.
- Pornography, adult sexual content, escort services, prostitution, sexual massage, and paid dating/sexual services.
- Human body parts, organs, blood, bodily fluids, or related services.
- Stolen goods, counterfeit goods, replicas sold as original, fake documents, fake IDs, or forged certificates.
- Hacked accounts, stolen personal data, passwords, SIM cards/accounts for fraud, or tools for cyber abuse.
- Gambling, betting, lotteries, casino-like services, and paid prize schemes.
- Loans, investment schemes, crypto/NFT trading offers, pyramid schemes, MLM recruiting, or get-rich-quick offers.
- Tobacco, vapes, alcohol, and age-restricted substances unless Mortuletti later creates a specific licensed seller flow.
- Hazardous materials, toxic chemicals, pesticides, fuel, radioactive materials, or unsafe flammable goods.
- Medical devices, prescription devices, unsafe health products, or products making unsupported medical claims.
- Recalled products, unsafe products, or goods that cannot legally be sold second-hand.
Restricted listings
These listings are not always banned, but sellers must be able to prove that the sale is legal, safe, and truthful.
- Animals and pet-related listings: allowed only when the owner and the animal have all required documents, registrations, health/vaccination records, and legal permissions. Animal welfare rules must be followed.
- Vehicles and real estate: seller must provide truthful information and any required ownership, registration, inspection, or legal documents.
- Luxury goods, jewelry, and branded goods: seller must be able to prove authenticity if requested.
- Baby and child safety items, helmets, car seats, cosmetics, mattresses, and similar safety/health-sensitive goods: seller must describe condition honestly and must not sell unsafe or recalled products.
- Food and homemade products: restricted until Mortuletti creates specific food-safety rules. Homemade/perishable food should not be listed by default.
- Services requiring professional licence or insurance, such as legal, medical, financial, construction, security, private investigation, or regulated trades.
- Tickets, vouchers, gift cards, and digital codes, because these are high-risk for fraud and may be removed unless specific rules are added.
Reports and moderation
Buyers and visitors can report suspicious or illegal listings. Reported listings may be reviewed manually. Repeated or serious violations can lead to removal of listings or account restrictions. Clearly illegal, prohibited, fraudulent, or similarly serious listings may be hard rejected without a publishing-fee refund.
